It’s been about a year since Highschool of the Dead Season 2 was announced at Anime Expo last summer. We were hopeful that it would come out last Fall, then last Spring, but we were let down. However, we still hold our hope strong for Highschool of the Dead. With no word from the creator since, we’re a bit disappointed. Thankfully, to our surprise, there’s hope.
We’ve learned that Shoji Sato, the illustrator of the anime series, will be attending Animagic 2012, where he will be discussing Highschool of the Dead, as well as handing out freebies and awarding Highschool of the Dead cosplay. Animagic is the largest anime festival in Germany, and it starts today, July 27th, and spans through July 29th. We can only hope Shoji Sato answers our cry and updates us on the status of Highschool of the Dead season 2 during the event.

i love HOTD and cant wate for season 2
I hope for a seaosn 2. I like the serious episodes and hope there isn’t no more crappy ovas messing up the series. Rei should get the main character because she is his high school love and been on his journey the most. Yes she can be undecisive but look what he puts her true at times.
I usually like cool killer women in the series but I don’t like third wheels. The blue hair character is great but shouldn’t get the main character. He should get Rei at the end.
Hope manga series continues and completes so we can get a couple more seasons. If any of the survivors from season 1 get axes please let it be the blood nurse, she a annoying perve.
sorry i disagree Rei was with Takashi but she don’t understand him at all but Saeko seams to understand him better and they seem to mach up better

i would say rei with takashi as she is who he love back when they are young during his childhood days. but saeko can be his partner too :D”
everyone including me says that saeko should be with takashi but i guess the story may go for takashi being with rei xD

i watched hsotd on netflix sad i know i am starting work in a few days so i hope season 2 is coming out i will definitely get it and i am going to get lollipop chainsaw saeko is my favorite character i hope she hooks up with takashi man i love that series its my fave. soya can’t wait.
It seems i have been waiting 100 thousand years (2 days) for the best anime i have ever seen to release season 2. If this is going to happen I swear on my life i will think about you when Im having happy time with myself! HAHAHAHA cant wait until season 2!! 😀
