Late last month in August we started a contest for Highschool of the Dead fans around the world. The contest was called “We Want Highschool of the Dead Season 2 Contest.” This was the first contest that we have held and we thought it was a good way to stir up the fans and followers of the HOTD anime and manga series. After a long 2 year hiatus, Highschool of the Dead will be returning this Spring, 2013. Fans of the series never gave up hope, and it looks like that hope will finally pay off this year!

Unfortunately Season 2 of Highschool of the Dead was not released on September 5, 2011, as many rumors stated it would be. The exact date of Season 2’s release is still unknown, but at least we know there will in fact be a Season 2.
