Unfortunately Season 2 of Highschool of the Dead was not released on September 5, 2011, as many rumors stated it would be. The exact date of Season 2’s release is still unknown, but at least we know there will in fact be a Season 2. This was answered at Anime EXPO 2011 at the H.O.T.D panel Q/A’s. I really want a season 2 of this awesome anime I liked so much that is in my top 10
i mean yeah they should honestly release it man ive been waiting years and years and years i wouldnt wanna wait till i turn like 50 lol -_- so yeha i want a season 2 just as bad as u guys all want it reply to my message guys haha i.Ive read the manga up to chapter 30 it was good but no chapters are been lately published yet so still waiting on that i’ll comment on this section ina few days maybe go go H.O.T.D one of ym fav anime’s ^_^
I am 50, and it is time to stop waiting. Season 2 is NOT happening, Triage X is happening instead. π
I watch it for the “plot.” no its serious and somewhat comedic, such as with the nosebleeds and dem titties flying around,i would very much like it if they do it soon, because its a very good anime, so yeah just waiting an eternity.

Would not get my hopes up scince it’s release a few years back somehow I think that this anime is also going to go down its been too long science its last update maybe its one of those good ankles that should’ve last but could not deliver but who knows maybe they are just playing with us and want to keep a suspension in the anime release I do hope so been waiting too long for it but I’m a.fan and will continue to wait.
Season 2 is very much needed. I watched season 1 and it was amazing. Season 2 please. ^.^
