No wonder Shoji Sato hasn’t updated the Highschool of the Dead series, he’s been busy with other things. We already knew he was busy working on his manga, Triage X, but earlier this year he was also involved with the gaming industry. He allowed the game Lollipop Chainsaw, a rather ecchi (and might I add fitting) zombie game, to feature two characters from the High School of the Dead series. The two characters featured are Rei Miyamoto, and the lovely Saeko Busujima. Both are available for the game as unlockable content. This is the closest that anyone will come to playing a Highschool of the Dead video game right now. But aside from the in-game content, he also illustrated a crossover manga that features the girls from HOTD and the girl from the video game. The crossover manga was featured as a bonus to people who bought the fourth volume of Triage X in Japan.

I love Saeko! I think Rei and Saeko’s poses should be switched. Rei can go away lol she is annoying to me in the anime. Jeez talk about needy and jealous much. Saeko i so pretty and I would freaking die if they made a game for this anime. I am eager to see a second season as well! Saeko FTW ^w^
I tried lollipop chainsaw worst game I’ve ever played I don’t want a game involving the characters of this show it will ruin satos rep just keep it a show its a great show but I really don’t think season.2 will come out sadly if not this year but fuck it thats how the network goes

Well to be honest no horror anime can be compared to high school of the dead. The level of horror is unparalleled. And honestly I’m eagerly waiting for season 2 as you know its not just me but fans from whole world are eagerly waiting for season 2. You know I’m so excited that wanted to send a personal letter to shoji sato, currently I’m only trying to suppress my excitement by reading manga but i think it won’t last longer as watching episodes is much better than reading manga. So please if you get some news about latest season or if you can contact him then please… tell him to release second season.. π
