Unfortunately Season 2 of Highschool of the Dead was not released on September 5, 2011, as many rumors stated it would be. The exact date of Season 2’s release is still unknown, but at least we know there will in fact be a Season 2. This was answered at Anime EXPO 2011 at the H.O.T.D panel Q/A’s. I’m really looking forward for the Season 2. I thought there would be none but here it is. I’m glad that more people came to love it. What I love about the anime series is the characters’ adaptability to the occuring zombie apocalypse. Hope more people would support it so the producers would think this is feasible to be released. Gambate Kudasai !!!
I been waiting for HOTD season two for like forever but im sure it will be worth the wait so far im on volume four of thr manga but im really waiting for the anime to contineu. Dont take too long creators of hotd and dont worry im sure ull have pleanty of support from us the fans of Highschool of the Dead :3
I just finished watching season 1 a third time, they need to hurry up the the goddamn second season.

As long as I get a Season 2 then I will be happy. Nothing I enjoy more than Zombie killing with Katanas and what not! I feel like there has to be a season 2 because if there wasn’t people might rage so hard that they would be forced to make one anyway. Can’t wait for it to get here!
