Unfortunately Season 2 of Highschool of the Dead was not released on September 5, 2011, as many rumors stated it would be. The exact date of Season 2’s release is still unknown, but at least we know there will in fact be a Season 2. This was answered at Anime EXPO 2011 at the H.O.T.D panel Q/A’s. Love all zombie movies & related material & i can’t thank netflix enough for having hotd! & am ecstatic that a season two is on the horizon! Just before our own zombie apocalypse…epic!!
On April 2nd high school of the dead season 2 was announced. It will be out this fall! Hooray!

Hell the more ecchi the better, its hot, it wont even be considered Hentai unless they actually bangin and naked. But action will be kickass , need more HOTD, so i can watch both Season 1 and Season 2 and enjoy the awesomeness of the best anime show ever with women, zombies, and guns/killing >:D Hopefully they get back on the manga so season 2 can come out. damnit they be working on that other crap, something X. Comon, you cant just stop working on an art and then go to something else. comon..

But WTF !? the reason they wont release or their having problems with season 2 is cause of ecchi problems !? ah fuck that, as long as they dont show pure boobs like in episode 6 in the bathroom scene with Ms.Shizuka , then they shuldnt have a problem, like seriously i think episode 6 and episode 13 OVA was over the top Hentai, comon they showed everything but little parts of their private shit. comon, i dont think HOTD 2 can get any more ecchi, or can it ? I just seen HOTD for the first time and I gotta say its one of the best anime I have ever seen and I’m really hoping they come out with a second season its already March 2012 so please hurry with the second season
We need to watch for the next manga release for HOTD. It’s been an entire year since chapter 29, which was the last HOTD release.
If there is a new release this year (2012), then that means the HOTD franchise is still alive and has marketing potential.
From what I’ve heard, the authors are on a long indefinite hiatus from HOTD and working on other manga. WHAT THE HELL?! They really need to atleast finish the HOTD story instead of leaving fans hanging on a cliff’s edge. Either way, HOTD is too popular to die out. If the authors are in their right minds, they’ll stop working on Triage X and move back to working on releasing chapter 30 of HOTD.
What we should be looking out for is not a season 2, but a new manga chapter. Because that would be a sign that the franchise is still alive and reawakened from its year long hiatus.
