Unfortunately Season 2 of Highschool of the Dead was not released on September 5, 2011, as many rumors stated it would be. The exact date of Season 2’s release is still unknown, but at least we know there will in fact be a Season 2. This was answered at Anime EXPO 2011 at the H.O.T.D panel Q/A’s. Yen Press announces color omnibus edition of HOTD manga volumes 5-7
Don’t know what to think about this. If they are going to colorize and release volumes 5-7 without volume 8, does that mean HOTD is really done? Do you think they know not to wait for volume 8?

Look you guys are really stupid. And late I have seen season 2 all ready but not the full season yet most of them are all on YouTube but If u are in japan just pick up a copy but it will be in Japanese.

i just got done watching the first season and was wondering if their was going to be a second now that i read some of these comments i feel really disappointed
if it does not come out next year i will be really disappointed

It’s not a movie. Highschool of the Dead is an anime. I’m suprised an angry otaku hasn’t pointed this out to you already.
