Unfortunately Season 2 of Highschool of the Dead was not released on September 5, 2011, as many rumors stated it would be. The exact date of Season 2’s release is still unknown, but at least we know there will in fact be a Season 2. This was answered at Anime EXPO 2011 at the H.O.T.D panel Q/A’s. I just want to tell the creators that there’s more fans out there than the ones who like their web pages on facebook or twitter, cause not all of their fans like their pages since they have friends that they might not want them to know that their friend likes anime. like me since I’m a guy, but trust me there’s more fans out there than the ones who like your pages, and the ones here. like my friend who loves this anime but he doesn’t have time to like your pages, or be on this page since he has work, he has time to watch them though. there’s fans out there that you don’t know about so trust me keep up the fantastic work!:)

I just read that season two starts this fall!
Hey I was wondering is there going to be a dubbed version of High school of the dead season 2. Cause I hate reading subs :P.
I Love the show THO AMAZING. But I really hope it’s going to be dubbed.

Screw the guy that says their isn’t going to be a season 2. Trying to jinx all us true fans.(asshole). If you read all the comments it says that they have just postponed it because they are working on another anima. Also the director of HOTD has left too. All this info is accumulated from other peoples posts, so not sure if it’s 100% true. Oooooooooooooooohhh and Syco+ Takashi= Freak’n Bad ASs Zombi€ Kill’n Mofo kids
-.- im getting impatient… i have been waiting for season 2 since the OVA said to be continued… but nothing, madhouse needs to get their asses in gear or i WILL go insane, and to be honest… no other anime should be worried about until we zombie/gun/anime lovers get what we want because we outnumber most people… and htose we dont out number, we out crazy
