It’s been over three years since Highschool of the Dead Season 1 first came out and since then fans around the world have been waiting for the announcement of Highschool of the Dead Season 2. We were hopeful it would finally arrive this year, or next, as news of the manga’s continuation suddenly emerged earlier this year. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to be the case and we’re left wondering if season 2 will ever come out. Why hasn’t it come out yet? Who knows. Maybe we’re not showing enough support for the series. If that’s the case, I hope Daisuke Satō and his team realize how badly we want season 2, and in order to spread our love and support for the series, HSoftheDead.com, in association with HOTD Philipines (100k fans strong), is sponsoring a HOTD Season 2 Contest!

Contest Summary
But how does a contest solve anything? The goal of this contest is to get fans motivated again about the Highschool of the Dead series and show the world, and Daisuke Satō, that we really want season 2 to come out soon! How are we going to this? We’re going to make Youtube videos explaining and showing everyone how much we love HOTD! Instead of just constantly hoping that one day season 2 will come out on its own, I think it’s time for everyone to start doing something that will hopefully get the writer to realize the Highschool of the Dead anime needs to continue now, before all hope is lost. If that’s not enough to motivate you, there will be prizes for the best HOTD videos!

Contest Rules
Please complete each of the following steps below and all of their requirements in order to qualify for the contest:
1. Like both Highschool of the Dead & HOTD Philippines pages on Facebook.
2. Make a video about why you love Highschool of the Dead and how badly you want season 2 to come out. Your video can be a simple video log, or you can go all out and cosplay as your favorite characters! The more creative you are, the better your chances are at winning! Follow these requirements to make sure your video is qualified to compete:
a. The title of the video must be “We Want Highschool of the Dead Season 2!”
b. Include a link to http://hsofthedead.com in the video description
c. Keep your video under 2 minutes long.
3. Share your video on Facebook after it has been uploaded to Youtube.
4. Comment on this page with a link to your Youtube video.
Make sure to submit your video by September 16th, 2013 in order to qualify for the contest.
Contest Judging
The judging of the videos submitted for the contest will be held by HSoftheDead.com. Judging will begin on September 17th and will last until September 20th, at which point the winner(s) will be announced on this website and on the two Facebook pages listed above. Winners will be contacted through their Youtube account in order to claim prizes.
Contest Regulations
The rules and regulations of this contest are subject to change without notice; it is your responsibility to make sure you are qualified to enter this contest. This is an international contest; anyone from anywhere in the world may enter. Winner(s) will be contacted through Youtube to claim their prize(s). Any prize(s) not claimed within one week (7 days) after being contacted will be withdrawn. Shipping of prizes within the United States of America will be covered by HSoftheDead.com. However, shipping of prizes outside of the United States of America will not, or may only partially be, covered by HSoftheDead.com.
Submissions for this contest will run until September 16th, 2013. Please submit your video by that date. Videos submitted after the specified date will not be eligible to win prizes.

Hey everybody, I just want to say that we all love HOTD, we all are excited by second season, we all love anime especially HOTD, Many fans are upset because the second season has not
come out yet, but we still waiting for the second season, don’t give up! we can wait until is done because we all expect him to be even better than the first season, and it’s better than nothing.

HOTD is the best anime ever, I love so much the first season and I’m still waiting for the second season.

It’s kinda weird, I read on wikipedia that Daisuke Sato said that season 2 is going to be resumed in 4 January of 2014. damn i really want season 2 to come out. I wish i could create a video but im not capable of, i dont have a camera of my own and my parents dont let me use theirs. X(. However im really concerned about season 2 H.O.T.D its one of the best anime ive watched now and i cant find anything that is superior to this series. I liked it too much that i kept watching the episodes over and over again. Its impossible to let go, and once you finish with the entire series including the OVA it makes you wanna watch the entire thing night and day (well at least this happened to me). I got really addicted to this cause its so freaking good. I even infected most of my friends with the H.O.T.D-love-passion disease that now they cant drop the series OR the manga. I really hope the season 2 of the awesome H.O.T.D comes out soon or at least let there be an actual answer that clarifies the release of season 2 and certainty of its release and continuation.

Was a good anime. But I don’t really care for a season two anymore. But that’s probably because TWD won me over.
