After a long 2 year hiatus, Highschool of the Dead will be returning this Spring, 2013. Fans of the series never gave up hope, and it looks like that hope will finally pay off this year! The return is revealed by these photos of the new publications for the manga’s fifth and sixth volumes which will be in full color. The wrap around band on the manga publications states that it will be returning soon. Another photo shows a full page advertisement saying that the manga is returning Spring 2013. Although currently no return date has been specified, we will keep you informed as new information on the series is revealed. Stay tuned, with the return of the manga, Highschool of the Dead Season 2 of the anime series looks like it may finally return in 2013 as well!

WADUUP! im back, and im here to clarify that HOTD season 2 will be returning in a close by future. i dont have any evidence to prove this, but as a research freak, there are leads, in the Mad House industry that combine with released merchandise,and dates on online shopping websites, that there is Green light for highschool of the dead season two. now if you disagree, ‘dont judge you, but if you get on this website, that brings up our hopes, to crash them down with logical facts, then what the hell are you doing here in the first place. in a nutsheel: HOTD season 2 is coming. No determined date ( for now). and dont hate on me with comments.

Ever noticed that the manga books come before the anime? The anime is just video version of the manga so once the manga is released, people aren’t just going to go immediately posting the anime immediately after as well, anime episodes take time to develop. Do not doubt the anime you filthy casual o.o be patient….
It is confirmed it will be here this spring 2013. And it’s normal that it isn’t relesed yet, since it still wasn’t aired.

It’s kinda weird, I read on wikipedia that Daisuke Sato said that season 2 is going to be resumed in 4 January of 2014. “Another photo shows a full page advertisement saying that the manga is returning Spring 2013.” Manga returns Spring 2013 “Highschool of the Dead Season 2 of the anime series looks like it may finally return in 2013 as well!” Somewhere in 2013, Connor your right about one thing but you also didn’t explain that one arrives on a certain month while the other doesn’t arrive until some time this year (most likely Fall from what I’ve been hearing), so for now it’s just the waiting game until we hear an announcement.
