After a long 2 year hiatus, Highschool of the Dead will be returning this Spring, 2013. Fans of the series never gave up hope, and it looks like that hope will finally pay off this year! The return is revealed by these photos of the new publications for the manga’s fifth and sixth volumes which will be in full color. The wrap around band on the manga publications states that it will be returning soon. Another photo shows a full page advertisement saying that the manga is returning Spring 2013. Although currently no return date has been specified, we will keep you informed as new information on the series is revealed. Stay tuned, with the return of the manga, Highschool of the Dead Season 2 of the anime series looks like it may finally return in 2013 as well!

yep maybe rei is whore but we need to know their past to say something about that. actually i am watching this anime because of rei and takashi i think the situation they are in is very weird and also exciting. everytime you are starting to think “what will happen next?” . Especially about rei and komuro.
I want to see their past in the new season in highschool of the dead.
because takashi’s words at the begining are just made me love this anime.
and i just want to know whats happened since the promise.
and also i am complaint about the episodes:( i heard that the new season will have 13 episodes. i think 13 episode will not satisfy me.

18 moths after the outbreak an immunization is found. Only 5% of the world population is left. All the zombies eventually dry up or rot away and are pretty much extinct.
Takashi Komuro and Rei Miyamoto do hook up. They work with Shizuka Marikawa immunizing people in the remote areas of Japan.
Saya Takagi and Kohta Hirano get together and raise Alice. They use her parents resources, which are now hers, to help other orphaned kids.
Rika continues to work with an elite team removing any remaining zombie threats.
Seako Busujima meets an American as crazy as she is, they head off to the US together.
Rei is a whore… She only wants takashi because her boyfriend is dead wasnt even thinking about him until hisashi died and he started getting close to Saeko plus she complains way too damn much Saeko FTW π
