It’s been over three years since Highschool of the Dead Season 1 first came out and since then fans around the world have been waiting for the announcement of Highschool of the Dead Season 2. We were hopeful it would finally arrive this year, or next, as news of the manga’s continuation suddenly emerged earlier this year. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to be the case and we’re left wondering if season 2 will ever come out. Why hasn’t it come out yet? Who knows. Maybe we’re not showing enough support for the series. If that’s the case, I hope Daisuke Satล and his team realize how badly we want season 2, and in order to spread our love and support for the series, HSoftheDead.com, in association with HOTD Philipines (100k fans strong), is sponsoring a HOTD Season 2 Contest!

Contest Summary
But how does a contest solve anything? The goal of this contest is to get fans motivated again about the Highschool of the Dead series and show the world, and Daisuke Satล, that we really want season 2 to come out soon! How are we going to this? We’re going to make Youtube videos explaining and showing everyone how much we love HOTD! Instead of just constantly hoping that one day season 2 will come out on its own, I think it’s time for everyone to start doing something that will hopefully get the writer to realize the Highschool of the Dead anime needs to continue now, before all hope is lost. If that’s not enough to motivate you, there will be prizes for the best HOTD videos!

a. The title of the video must be “We Want Highschool of the Dead Season 2!”

3. Share your video on Facebook after it has been uploaded to Youtube.
4. Comment on this page with a link to your Youtube video.
Make sure to submit your video by September 16th, 2013 in order to qualify for the contest.

The judging of the videos submitted for the contest will be held by HSoftheDead.com. Judging will begin on September 17th and will last until September 20th, at which point the winner(s) will be announced on this website and on the two Facebook pages listed above. Winners will be contacted through their Youtube account in order to claim prizes.

Hello i am a major fan! i have watched the anime so many times and i really wish a season 2 would be released soon. I don’t have many good things in my life and this is a really good thing and i don’t want it to stop. I hate when i find an amazing anime and they only release one or 2 seasons and never release anymore ๐ the point of a story is for the whole story to be told. You have so many amazing fans that would do anything to support you so why don’t you give us a chance and release another season? If i could watch one more season before i die i would die happy

Hotd season 2 coming out, the chapters ganna come out on 2015 just note that season 2will not come out if the manga doesn’t progress. Hotd was on haitus on march 2011 as stated on animenewsnetwork.com so if thats the definent truth, the series ganna have time to go on a “wait” not a long haitus, just2 wait, so it will be possible that seadon 2 of hotd will come out in 2017 however the lastest chapter came out on spring 2013 which meaning it came out on April 9th. So hotd s2 wont come out early. So wait until time comes. Volume seven came out so volume 8 will be next and therefore season 2 will come out after that. Be sure buy the copies to support the creators theres ALOT of fans really love this show to continue. So never give up hope! I did so you can too.!!

The people who create good anime but don’t finish it are not good at their job and should fuck off and find another talent cause I’ve watched like 3 of these different kind of cartoons In my life I’m not a fan of any cartoon but this cartoon is the best one of all even better then some movies I might say and if you have the god damn time to finish it then do it and stop being a Dick about it cause not just I want it done Many others do too so I’ve probably watched this cartoon about 20 to 25 times no exaggeration this cartoon is just that good so do us all a favor I do what I said a thousand Times and finish it

hopefully the thing about me watching it 20 to 25 times effected somebody lol but i did watch it close to that amount i think, come on creators i just finished the manga chapter 30 that also ended horribly just like the anime show itself its a great story but make it a little more realistic i mean come on now 2 guys with a ton of bitches make it more action and less ecchi is the word i think its stupid and a waste of time if people want that then go watch a porn or gets girls in real life like i do and every other normal person i know
